Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of ErgoSched (the "Service"), a personal time-management calendar and analytics application. The Service is provided by Takuya Koichi (trading as ErgoSched) ("we", "us", "our"), and by creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; if you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement.
The service
ErgoSched lets you schedule events, classify them into categories, subcategories and workstreams, and view reports and analytics on how your time is spent. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under the plan you have selected. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or for fraud or spam;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning our systems, or scraping data;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service, or circumvent technical limits.
Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation and branding. You retain ownership of the content and scheduling data you enter, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service to you.
Free trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full functionality and no payment details required. The trial is granted once per email address. When the trial ends, your data remains available to view in read-only form, and creating or editing entries requires an active subscription.
Payment, subscriptions and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account settings, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Service level and warranties
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that exclusion is prohibited by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination you may export or request a copy of your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified through the Service. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@ergosched.com. Billing questions are handled by Paddle.
